Hung out with Eberz’ family in Summer Palace is my intern assignment. They have been living in Beijing for more than 10 years and now there are 3 kids in their family. I got a picture of them from Joey which was taken 10 years ago in Summer Palace, and at that time their oldest kid was too small hold by Rob in the front of Wanshou Mountain. My work was to take the picture at the same place and same background where the Eberz’ family took the same photo 10 years ago, showing the changes over this 10 years.

Eberz's family
The work was quite simple. After that, we continue hung out in Summer Palace and took other photos. The little girl was just too popular that many people would like to take photos with her. Rob told me this has been very normal in their live.
As China now is more and more developed and open, more and more foreigners would like to come to China and even live in China. Like the Eberz’s, Rob work for an international church and their 2 younger kids were all born in China and all of their kids study in Chinese school.
Not only this one, and not only Beijing, I will visit another foreign school in Tianjin tomorrow. Those schools only accept foreigner’s kids, which mean no Chinese students will be accepted. But this is not their desire, it’s because to accept Chinese students are too complicated, they have to build complex relationships with the Chinese government. It’s too hard to make it.
One more thing I would like to say is that I saw many Chinese people send their kids to this university. They are actually with foreign nationalities. I hate their English tone, which they were trying to pretend to as enthusiastic as the foreigner normally does.
